As a centre of competence for safety and technology, BAM plays a key role in numerous national, European and global networks. It intends to further strengthen this role in the future and deepen its worldwide cooperation with outstanding partner institutions and networks.
With its expert knowledge, BAM is already contributing to the future viability of the German economy in a changing global environment. Scientists from international partner organisations are involved in BAM's future projects. BAM contributes its know-how on safety and technology in a leading role or as a partner in EU project consortia and international joint projects. Through contributions to congresses, committee work and joint publications, BAM is in close contact with experts from Europe and all over the world. With its own funding formats, such as the Adolf Martens Fellowship Programme, BAM supports the career development and integration of young foreign scientists in ongoing research projects and in its wide-ranging competence networks.
