3D printing in space: parabolic flight experiments provide new insights into component quality

Together with DLR (German Aerospace Center) and DHM Prüfsysteme, BAM tested an improved design for 3D printing in weightlessness in DLR's 38th parabolic flight campaign in February 2022 and derived new findings from this.

The project FALCONESS connects young female scientists from different disciplines for more sustainable construction in Africa. The project is coordinated by BAM and the University of Lagos in Nigeria.
