The Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung (BAM) is a materials research organization in Germany. Our mission is to ensure safety in technology and chemistry. Your responsibilities include:

  • Development of methods for species-specific isotopic analysis via capillary electrophoresis (CE) and multicollector ICP-MS (MC-ICP-MS)
  • Optimization of CE-methods for biomolecule analysis
  • Development of species-specific (isotopic) reference materials
  • Application to biological samples
  • Publication of the results in peer-reviewed journals
  • Presentation of the results on inter-/national scientific conferences

Your qualifications:

  • Succesfully completed scientific education (Diploma/Master) in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Bioanalysis or related subjects
  • Knowledge in analytical chemistry, in elemental or isotope-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS)
  • Knowledge in chromatography/(capillary) electrophoresis; hyphenated techniques
  • Good knowledge of data evaluation tools (EXCEL, ORIGIN)
  • Very good skills in english language (spoken and written)
