Qualification programme
With the qualification programme "Menschen-Potentiale", we offer you optimal conditions to round off your profile as a competent scientist who can work in science, business and politics. The programme includes numerous interdisciplinary courses in which you can acquire essential key competences in the areas of research management, working techniques and science communication.
Working Group "Postdocs”
The working group "Postdocs" represents the interests of BAM's postdocs and organises formats that serve cross-departmental networking and career development. This includes self-organised lab tours and seminars.
Job offers & funding opportunities
We offer a limited number of one to two-year contracts for full-time positions to postdoctoral researchers. Payment is according to TVöD (pay group 13/14). Postdoc employment contracts can be extended according to the rules of the Wissenschafts-Zeitvertrags-Gesetz.
Under certain conditions, we also support larger research projects, e.g. for a habilitation.

Postdocs with excellent international degrees can also come to BAM via the Adolf Martens Fellowship Programme, in which up to 10 postdoctoral researchers are supported each year.
