The Thermographic Methods division develops solutions for non-destructive testing and measurement technology problems in the field of thermography.
These solutions can be employed with great flexibility in industrial production processes, for quality assurance, for inspection and monitoring, and for repair and recycling. Investigations can be performed without any material destruction or contact at both very small and very large distances.
Metallic and non-metallic materials as well as composite material systems can be tested at various length scales ranging from micron cracks up to 100 m long rotor blades. Due to high testing speed and high grade of automation, the method is inline-capable.
