Pressure Equipment, Accessories, Gas Detectors
A main task of the Pressure Equipment, Accessories, Gas Detectors division is to test and advise on the function and safety of accessories and gas detectors when handling gases. This applies both to the use of gases in technical installations and to the potential risks involved in the transport and storage of gases. Another main task is to test and advise on the handling of oxygen and its associated specific requirements for materials and components. In this context, safety related data is determined, evaluated and provided in expert opinions, reports and publications for authorities, industry and employers' liability insurance associations.
