The First Training Event “Welcome Retreat” was initially planned to be held in Berlin. Due to the pandemic situation and travel limitations our Supervisory Board decided to organize the event as an online meeting.
We knew that it would be very challenging getting to know each other and initiate collaboration between our Early Stage Researchers remotely. Thus, beside the scientific aspects of the training the focus was on socializing.

Even if we had a densely packed schedule, we had enough time to use various online tools to meet each other during the coffee breaks. The Pub Quiz on Thursday evening was obviously one of the highlights of our event.
