With nanoparticles against SARS-CoV-2
The COVID-19 pandemic makes it clear that new and smart strategies are needed for the inhibition of respiratory viruses. At the Free University of Berlin two-dimensional graphene sheets with defined functionalities were developed which inhibit the virus replication by disrupting the viral envelope. BAM supports this study with advanced nano-characterization methods for the understanding of the interaction at the graphene/virus interface.
