The Bundesanstalt für Materialfoschung und -prüfung (BAM) together with the German Society for Non-Destructive Testing (DGZfP) would like to extend an invitation to the Quantitative InfraRed Thermography (QIRT) Conference in Berlin. The international conference focuses on quantitative infrared thermography and will take place between 25 and 29 June 2018 at BAM’s location in Berlin-Adlershof and at Hotel H4 on the Alexanderplatz.

Thermography is a contactless, thermal imaging method that is used in many fields. For example, this method can help ensure the product quality in additive manufacturing or examine aircraft components and wind turbines for material defects. Thermography can also be used to diagnose illnesses.

The QIRT conference will showcase the latest technologies in thermal imaging. In addition to 200 presentations by international experts from research institutions and the industry, visitors can also take short courses on the various thermographic methods.

Online registration for the conference is open until 24 June 2018 at www.qirt2018.de.
