Vocational training has a tradition at BAM. For almost 40 years, BAM has been training industrial mechanics, chemical laboratory technicians, material analysts, office management clerks, installation mechanics for sanitary, heating and climate engineering, and computer specialists for systems integration.

19 young people started their career at BAM on 1st September 2017. On their first day of work, the apprentices were welcomed by BAM President Prof. Ulrich Panne and they learned a lot about BAM’s history and the various focus areas at the introductory event. In the subsequent tour of the headquarters, they visited the Divisions of Explosives and Building Materials and gained an insight into BAM’s everyday work.

The new trainees will begin their work at BAM equipped with this knowledge. We wish them good luck and success!
