Effects of Nanoconfinement on Hydrogen Dynamics in TiCl3Doped NaAlH4 Studied using QuasiElastic Neutron Scattering (QENS)

Dynamics of hydrogen in 4 mol % TiCl3doped NaAlH4 nanoconfined within the mesoporous SBA15 was studied using QENS. Key insights were gained with respect to fraction of mobile hydrogen, jump lengths, and overall mechanism for enhanced desorption kinetics due to doping and nanoconfinement.
These lectures are free and can be attended via Zoom by to up to 100 attendees.
