Vocational training

BAM has a long tradition in vocational training.

Many occupations require officially recognised vocational trainings. In Germany, these trainings are provided jointly in public/private partnerships, e.g. by a company and a vocational school, the company being responsible for practical and theoretical aspects and the school, the theory.

Vocational training at BAM is divided into four vocational groups:

The training takes 3 or 3½ years and is structured as follows:

Basic training
Basic trainings place at central institutions (e.g. training workshops, training laboratories).

Specialist training
Specialist trainings are given within BAM's various departments.

For vacant places for traineeships and apprenticeships, please see our German webpage.
