BAM has a long tradition of vocational training.
Training within occupations officially recognised as requiring vocational training is provided jointly by the company and the vocational school in a public/private partnership, the company being responsible for practical and theoretical aspects and the school, the theory.
Vocational training at BAM is divided into five vocational groups:
The training takes 3 or 3½ years and is structured as follows:
Basic training
This takes place at central institutions (e. g. training workshops, training
laboratories).
Specialist training
This is given within BAM's various departments.
