The BAM List

The BAM List serves as the basis for the BAM's substance-related prototype approvals for tank containers and portable tanks designed for the carriage of dangerous goods. In addition, the list is used as a knowledge source for the approval of tank vehicles and rail tank wagons. Furthermore, it serves as a reference for the material related evaluation of other types of containments carrying dangerous goods.

Edition

The current 10th edition of the BAM List reflects the status of RID and ADR 2009 as well as the 34st Amendment of the IMDG Code 2008 including the published errata and corrigenda until June 2009. Furthermore the BAM List includes an extended evaluation of material compatibility.

Content

Only those datas of dangerous goods that may be potentially transported in tanks are incorporated. Because of their special requirements, class 1 and 7 substances are not contained in this list with few exeptions.

Print version

A print version is for BAM List 2009 version 10.1 not available.

Program versions

The program versions (single user and network version) are multilingual (English-German) and contain filter and search functions as well as the ability of creating substances lists based on tank parameters.

Demo version

A single user demo version of the program with a reduced amount of substances but full functionality is available for free.
