The BAM List

The BAM List serves as the basis for the BAM's substance-related prototype approvals for tank containers and portable tanks designed for the carriage of dangerous goods. In addition, the list is used as a knowledge source for the approval of tank vehicles and rail tank wagons. Furthermore, it serves as a reference for the material related evaluation of other types of containments carrying dangerous goods.

Edition

The current 11th edition of the BAM List reflects the status of RID and ADR 2011 as well as the 35th Amendment of the IMDG Code 2010 including the published errata and corrigenda until June 2011. Furthermore, the BAM List includes an extended evaluation of material compatibility.

Content

Only those datas of dangerous goods that may be potentially transported in tanks are incorporated. Because of their special requirements, class 1 and 7 substances are not contained in this list with few exeptions.

Program versions

The program versions (single user and network version) are multilingual (English-German) and contain filter and search functions as well as the ability of creating substances lists based on tank parameters.

A single user demo version of the program with a reduced amount of substances but full functionality is available for free (zip-file, 5,8 MB).
