Dangerous goods design type approvals

Design type approvals for packagings, intermediate bulk containers (IBCs) and large packagings for the transport of dangerous goods

In parallel with the publication in the Official Journal of BAM all valid approvals issued or reissued by BAM or the former Central Office of the German Railways (BZA) are published here in tabled form, structured according to package-, IBC-, large package-types, as far as the manufacture of samples complying with these approvals is officially controlled. The listing follows the UN numerals and letter coding scheme and, within one group, to the counting number of the approval. Approvals established until 30 March, 2000 without IT-support are shown without issue date and UN- or ADR/RID-marking. In these cases it can be taken as given that the indicated counting number of the approval (given in blue) is identical with the one of the marking (figure after .../D/BAM/... ). For approvals issued after 1 April 2000 the complete text of the approval in pdf-format may be opened and printed by clicking to the approval number in blue. Details on the manufacturer (in terms of the dangerous goods regulations) become visible by clicking to its identification mark in blue.
The table is updated quarterly. The presentation of older approvals with full information including its complete text in pdf -format may be applied for in context with a reissue of the approval (to be charged).
