The BAM Certification Body (BZS) certifies safety-related products, predominantly in the mandatory area in form of design-type tests on the basis of EC directives and national legal regulations; BZS is accredited according to DIN EN 45011 and DIN EN 45012.
BAM acts as a notified body (registered under identification no. 0589). Products whose production is monitored by BAM or which are produced under a quality system certified by BAM are labelled as follows:
Moreover, BZS also certifies safety-related products in the voluntary area which are in the focus of specific fields of BAM competence.
