Dynamic integrity testing of a bored pile (enlarged picture)
The working area Methods of Geophysics, Geotechnique and Spectroscopy has conducted an EC-funded project on the re-use of foundations (RUFUS).
One of the main topics is non-destructive pile testing. Dynamic integrity testing, parallel seismic and borehole radar will be performed at BAM Test Site Technical Safety (BAM TTS) and on international test sites.
