This division has a range of stiff borescopes and a flexible videoscope with associated measuring device. They allow visual inspection of voids in structural elements. The main field of application of this method is the determination of the inner structure of structural members.

In addition to visual inspection the following applications are possible

Distance measurement of two arbitrary points in the display in one layer perpendicular to the optical axis
Inclination measurement of objects on the observed surface
Depth measurement to detect distances between two surfaces

Voids to be detected must be accessible with the 3 m long flexible tube and the probe of 6 mm respectively 8,4 mm in diameter. The operation of the inspection can be recorded with a video recorder.

Fields of application

Detection of expansion joints
Inspection of no visible anchors from ceiling constructions
Investigation of different layers and their thickness in structural members
Investigation of voids under foundations in case of scour
Damage assessment of accidentally damaged tendon ducts
