Non-destructive testing (NDT) uses different physical methods and sensors and provides a safe and targeted condition of material, industrial plants and systems. In addition to improving radiological and acoustical methods, numerous additional NDT methods and sensors are being developed, investigated and applied. A key point is the combination of different methods for an improved reliability of testing results, resulting in a better safety of our technical environment and the prevention of damage.
