For the testing and the assessment of the reliability, durability, safety and resistance of building constructions and their components including the soil the short and long term behaviour as well as the residual life time are investigated. Scientific examinations are carried out at complex and extreme mechanical loadings in the laboratory and in situ. On behalf of public and private clients expert opinions and technical specification are prepared. The knowledge gained is introduced into national and international standards.
