Quality assurance
We monitor the manufacturing of dangerous goods packagings with regard
to the compliance with legal provisions and approved design type
specifications:
- Approval of quality assurance programmes (QAP) for the serial
production of dangerous goods packagings
- Recognition of bodies for monitoring the manufaction of dangerous goods
packagings
- Central recording and valuation of monitoring measures and own monitoring
activities
- Cooperation with competent foreign authorities on the mutual exchange of
manufaction monitoring and their acceptance.
Information management
We are responsible for the central information management in our
department:
- Development and maintenance of the website Technical Safety - Dangerous Goods Containments
- Organisation of workshops, promotion of experience exchanges,
fostering of networks for packagings, test houses, inspection and monitoring
bodies
- Improvement of the BAM-internal information-management on technical safety
including external interfaces
- Coordination of national, European and international standardisation in the
field of the transport of dangerous goods.
