Working group
Another working field is testing of flammable aerosol products of class 2 (aerosol dispensers) according to the aerosol directive (75/324/EC and following) and the UN “Manual of Tests and Criteria, Section 31” (ignition distance test, enclosed space ignition test and foam flammability test).
For the analysis of gas mixtures and reaction products GC (gas chromatography) and FTIR (Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy) techniques are available as well as FID (flame ionization detector), paramagnetic analysers and special types of gas sensors.
