Supporting quality and reliability of measurements in analytical chemistry

Chemical analyses have to be reliable. Different decisions like determining the price of raw materials, controlling manufacturing processes, or checking the compliance with limit values are derived from their results. Yet reliability and trustworthiness can only be achieved when measurement results are internationally comparable, transparent and, of course, accurate. Metrology – the science of measurement – leads the way, and chemometrics is offering the necessary tools.
