Fischfütterungsversuche, HBCD in Fisch
The activities of the division are focused on the assurance of trueness, reliability and comparability of analytical results in organic analysis. Reference materials, the development of analytical methods and interlaboratory studies and comparisons form important elements of this pursuit. On the one hand, the development, production and certification of matrix-bound reference materials are directly linked with the development of analytical methods which are either of practical relevance and bear the potential of being standardised or may serve as reference methods. On the other hand, reference materials form the basis of interlaboratory studies and comparisons or round-robin tests necessary both for the assessment of the technical competence of laboratories (proficiency testing) and method validation. According to the main focus of our activities, both reference materials and interlaboratory studies are important parameters of assuring the quality of analytical results.
