Inorganic Trace Analysis

BAM-Y001: primary reference material for copper determination

The specific competence of our division is inorganic trace element analysis, speciation and isotopic analysis, especially of pure substances, environmental and biological as well as medical materials. We develop suitable measurement procedures and instruments. The preparation of certified reference materials (primary standards, isotopic reference materials) and extensive metrological activities are essential contributions of our division to quality assurance of analytical data. Furthermore we organise proficiency testings to evaluate the competence of testing laboratories. A wide range of analytical instrumentation form the basis for reliable analytical results, as well as educated and experienced staff. As part of the division we are accredited as a testing laboratory according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025.
