Full-scale-test on the stability of composite column
The 25 MN Large-scale servo hydraulic testing machine is one of the most powerful pieces of equipment in Europe. Indeed, the combination of its test area, test clearance and maximum force may be unique. This machine can undertake experimental testing on actual or at least large-scale high-strength and/or large-size and large-volume building elements and structural components up to the limiting strength.
The building elements or structural components, mainly of engineering structures, most commonly tested are: high-strength reinforced concrete or steel pillars, composite structures, bridge bearings, masonry walls, wall-like bearers and structural components under multi-axial load (due to an additionally mounted horizontal frame) and structural components under tensile stress connected non-positively via tie rods to the base plate and head of the testing machine.
Different bearing constructions are available to enable clamped or simply supported conditions.
