Apparatus for investigating the combustion behaviour of metallic materials in high pressure oxygen

This apparatus allows to determine the combustion behavior of metallic materials in high pressure oxygen.
By use of contactless IR-sensors it is possible to determine the combustion velocity. Additionally, the threshold pressure which supports either self-sustained combustion or self-extinguishing, can be determined. It is also possible to perform the tests in flowing oxygen.
