Reference procedures

Reference procedures determine the accuracy and reliability of measurement procedures. We define reference procedures as procedures that have been designed to deliver results which can be used as a reference. Accordingly, the procedures contained in this catalogue range from proprietary BAM techniques to reference implementations of public standard methods. Not included are test methods for which special legal regulations apply, e.g. in the field of dangerous goods and substances.

Provision of reference procedures at BAM is oriented towards current needs and tasks. Therefore, our reference procedures are reviewed and updated on a regular basis.

The reference procedures in this catalogue reflect the subject fields of BAM:

The reference procedures provided by BAM are intended to serve as testing-technological standards for the industries concerned - in particular for small- and medium-sized enterprises.
