Abteilung 7
Die Abteilung nimmt die Mitgliedschaft der BAM als einzigem deutschen Institut im European Network of Building Research Institutes (ENBRI) wahr. Die Abteilung ist auch in europäische Thematische Netzwerke wie E-CORE (European Construction Research Network) und SAMCO (Structural Assessment Monitoring and Control ) eingebunden. Als Mitbegründerin ist sie am internationalen Netzwerk I-SAMCO maßgeblich beteiligt. Im europäischen Netzwerk NANOCEM ist sie im Steering Committee sowie in Projekten vertreten. Sie arbeitet aktiv in der European Construction Technology Platform (ECTP) mit und ist Mitglied der entscheidenden "High Level Group" sowie in Focus Areas.
Die europäische Normung und Regelsetzung wird durch Mitarbeit in zur Zeit 10 Ausschüssen von CEN und EOTA mitgestaltet. Auch in ISO-Ausschüssen ist die Abteilung vertreten.
Als Mitglied in RILEM (Réunion Internationale des Laboratoires d'Essais et des Recherches sur les Matériaux et les Constructions) und deren Technical Committees, in EMAG (European Modal Analysis Group), EGOLF (European Group of Official Laboratories for Fire Testing) und im ICPIC Board (International Congress of Polymers in Concrete) wird am internationalen Informationsaustausch und Wissenstransfer mitgewirkt.
